PROMOTING RESILIENCE IN DIVERSE (PRIDE) FAMILY STUDIES LAB

The University of Texas at San Antonio

Caring

WELCOME

Welcome to our lab! At the PRIDE Family Studies Lab, we are driven by a passion to reduce barriers to culturally-informed health care and promote resilience and healing among individuals and families from marginalized backgrounds. Our hope is that our work informs relationship interventions and health care to create more inclusive and affirming environments for the LGBTQ community, people of color, and other marginalized populations. Our work has a strong focus on the intersection of sexual orientation, gender identity, race/ethnicity, and other social identities.

Please check out our "Projects" tab to learn more about our current projects and our "News" tab to learn more about recent publications and awards. The "People" tab contains information about our awesome team and collaborators and the "Join Us" tab has information for students and participants who are interested in learning more.

Thank you for being here!
